Re: Rurouni Kenshin
I love me some Kenshin.
Though I don't know who those 2 characters in the back are.

Re: Rurouni Kenshin
Yeah I have no clue who those kids are either.
I just chose that picture because it was the only one with the entire cast in it. Ah well, probably just some anime filler characters.
And yeah, I also love this series to bits.
This was the series that got me into reading manga.

Re: Rurouni Kenshin
I'm planning on picking up the vizbig editions of it. Would that be a good way to start?
(AKA is the manga or the anime better?)

Definitely, yes.Iceh wrote:I'm planning on picking up the vizbig editions of it. Would that be a good way to start?

The story really starts getting good around volume two, and the Vizbig editions have three volumes in one. So getting one of those is definitely a good idea.

$16?
So you're pretty much getting three volumes for the price of two.
Definitely a good deal.

Re: Rurouni Kenshin
Hellz yeah.
By the way, I'm only bringing $140 ($20 being for Chapters) to the con.
Any other suggestions of titles I should purchase?

Personally, I'd also recommend One Piece and Fullmetal Alchemist.Iceh wrote:Hellz yeah.

Coincidentally, the guy who created One Piece worked as an assistant to the creator of Rurouni Kenshin, just in case you didn't know.

Really, Oda? O:
Never knew. I thought he just entered some contest or whatever then started working on One Piece later..
lawls.
I didn't know he did that inbetween or whatever. But pretty cool. O:
Also, I am into both One Piece and Fullmetal Alchemist. (I watched the anime of FMA and the first 100 episodes of One Piece.. and now I'm just reading bits and pieces of the manga (Kira basically tells me all about the latest chapters and stuff, so it's basically like I'm reading it))
Basically I read all of the Shonen Jump titles except for a few.
